From a river port to a busy port
Have you ever stood next to a 70 meter high loading crane? Do you know what types of businesses exist in a port?
The Port of Køge is one of Denmark/Zealand's largest and most important bulk ports. In 1990, there were 745,000 tonnes transported through the quay, in 2023 the figure was around 2,500,000 tonnes.
Join us on a journey about port development, housing near the port and the work with municipal ownership.
Harbor captain Susanne Thilqvist will guide us around the harbor and tell us about the journey from past to present; different types of goods, the cranes and the cooperation at the port.
Program:
12.30 Sandwiches and networking
13.30 Presentation
14.30 Bus tour around the harbour
16.30 Thank you for today.
